COATESVILLE — Residents planted flowers to beautify their parks Saturday in preparation for today’s Earth Day ceremonies.
Marie Hess, chairwoman of the Coatesville Park and Recreation Commission, said she developed the idea to plant flowers in the parks for beautification of the city because she wants to “show people we still have beauty here.”
